There are an increasing variety of nail enhancement treatments to choose from, each with different benefits for individual customers. They are applied over the top of a false plastic tip, that adheres to the nail to make it longer. The different types available are listed below.
Acrylic - The most popular, and strongest type of artificial nail. This is a combination of a liquid and a powder, mixed together to make a strong resin which is then applied to the false tip. This can be applied as a clear or colour acrylic. Ideal if you have a busy lifestyle or, simply would like some glamour.
UV Curable Acrylic - Again popular and a strong type of artificial nail. This is a combination of a liquid and a powder, mixed together to make a strong resin which is then applied to the false tip, then placed under a UV lamp. This can be applied as a clear or colour acrylic.
UV Curable Gel - More flexible than acrylic, although less enduring. This enables your nails to breathe and leaves the finished nails with a lovely shine. You can choose from a permanent non chip gel or clear.
French Tip - Permanent white tip, hard wearing and clean finish
Clear Tip - This is a clear natural tip ideal if you like to have different colours painted or a natural finish.
Fibreglass - A popular natural looking overlay to the nail, using a fibreglass or silk mesh to the natural nail. This system is not as hardwearing as using a tip.
Sculptured Nails - This method involves building up a false nail tip over a foil form instead of using a tip.
From Clear tips to white tips; natural looking to bright colours. You choose the style to suit you.
